Brave New Voices perform at Delta College MLK Day of Service Celebration

Sapphire Newby and Danielle Horton, both of Flint and Destiny Shannon of Robbins, Ill., perform beat poetry at the MLK Day of Service Celebration at Delta College on Monday, Jan. 19. The three young women have been working together for nearly a year since competing in the international Brave New Voices poetry slam.
